So Why The Education System Can be Broken

In case you read the daily newspapers or instruments in to the every night news you may get a bad taste in your mouth. Worse, if you listen to your child after a long day at school you may also get an uncomfortable feeling. Yes, it can seem to be that the educational product is broken and, certainly, it can be beyond repair.

They may get suspended for a brief time, but usually they return and pick up where they left off.

In order to save money on programs for children with special needs, schools have begun to widely mainstream students demanding special education needs into regular classrooms. While this effort is meant with good intentions, it does indeed not always bear fruits. Oftentimes, this blend of students can do more harm than good.

The moment you think back to your time and efforts in school how many excellent teachers can you recall? Most people can think of one or maybe more - if you can think greater than that you should consider yourself blessed. There are many excellent teachers in schools; however, there are even more unqualified teachers. Due to the dependence on teachers and the poor environment made available from many school districts, professors who are unqualified are often hired. Many professors are given second and third chances after they have proven to be inept at previous colleges. The pay for professors is notoriously low in many states which will not lend itself to a highly motivated and a highly qualified staff.

The education system is indeed broken. Besides a lack of funding leading to the use of outdated books, few personal computers, having less opportunity for field trips and hands-on learning, it seems that the complete framework of education is coming apart at the seams. The only way the education system can be repaired is through massive funding and a strong dedication by culture to make the system work. With treasury coffers fairly empty this will not look like it will happen anytime soon.
